Hi there!

I just ducked upstairs to come to you on Thanksgiving Day because I’m running around making dinner and bursting out of my skin about how grateful I am for all of the blessings that God has bestowed on me. I am grateful for my faith, my family, my friends, all of you that I’m speaking to … my spiritual companions … I just can’t stop beaming! So, I just had to come up here and say, “Why is it, on Thanksgiving one day a year, most people remember to be grateful and thankful for all the things that they have in their lives but then we just kind of forget it the rest of the time?”

So, you’re going to see this on Monday, which will be long after the leftovers are gone. Your family and friends are out of your house, or maybe you wish there were out of your house, I’m not sure. (Ha) But life goes back to normal. Let’s not lose this sense of gratitude and thankfulness to God for everything He’s created in this world, US included.

So let’s remember to thank Him for everything. Our lives, our family, our homes, all of the things that help us live secure lives and most importantly our faith. And if you’re kind of struggling with the faith side, ask Him for more. Let’s remember every day to thank God when we wake up that we’re alive. We can say, “Okay God, what do you want me to do with this gift of me that you have created?” to start your day. And then when you put your head on the pillow at night, thank Him again by saying, “Thank you for letting me get through this day and thank you for also teaching me some things or thanks because I saw You throughout the day working in my life.”

Keep thanking Him. He will continue to bless you if you do and it’s just a good mental mindset to be in. Why wouldn’t you be grateful for everything that God has bestowed on you? Now, let’s go share that with everybody this week.

I appreciate the fact that you tune in—I have to say that I am super grateful for everyone who watches this every week. You have no idea how amazing it is when I received your comments! And I do have to say I am still on a spiritual high that I cannot explain, I am still ‘resting in the spirit.’ I am still feeling the Holy Spirit in me this week beyond what I have ever felt before. I am so grateful to God for gracing with me with this. I think I need a glass of wine. I haven’t even had one yet and it’s halfway through the Bears game!

Be grateful this week. I’m grateful for YOU. Have a blessed and inspired day, take care.
